August 7, 2025: Elimination Communication: Pottying our Babies with Ease
Elimination Communication is a method of pottying our babies. The process of EC works with the natural cues and rhythms of all babies to use the bathroom cleanly, efficiently and with presence.
As a culture we are under the illusion that diapers are a necessity and that our children don’t have an innate understanding of their own bodily functions. This is a myth. Babies, like all mammals do not want to soil themselves and will, willingly and ease-fully use the toilet from birth.
If you’ve never heard of elimination communication and your curiosity has been peaked 👀, join us! Or if you’re EC curious, you’ve heard of it, but don’t quite understand how it actually happens, please come! This class will be suitable for parents or caregivers of children 18 months and under, parents to be and anyone else who wants to learn — grandparents, midwives, holistic care practitioners, chiropractors etc.
In this 2 hour class we’ll cover the origins and history of elimination communication, our innate biology as humans, and what has become normalized, but is not normal in our culture around diapering our children. We’ll also go through real life examples and provide a layout for EC, so that after leaving the class you can walk away confident and ready to start the process.
This class is designed with parents in mind, however it is appropriate for anyone who wants to learn.
